This key outreach role will be an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an outgoing individual who loves to provide solution consultancy to meet customer needs. In this pre-sales role, you will work with the product managers, marketing, and field sales to achieve monthly sales goals by supporting customer demonstrations, training, events, and bid responses. This role will focus on pre-sales opportunities with customers, post-sale training and trouble-shooting, and escalated support.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of BenQ’s B2B product lines
  • Effectively demonstrate product features and benefits to customers, in person and remotely
  • Provide expert product training to our channel partners
  • Arrange effective pre-sale product demonstrations with customers in collaboration with the sales team
  • Write, produce, and edit product training videos
  • Respond quickly to customer questions during the sales process
  • Provide weekly reports on pre-sales and post-sales activity and metrics
  • Communicate effectively - lead sales team training and work well with customers
  • Understand how BenQ products and features compare to the competition
  • Work closely with the Marcom, Product Management (PM), Customer Support & Services (CS&S) and HQ in Taiwan as needed
  • Manage travel costs and expenses effectively

Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • 5+ years of field site Audio, Video, or Education applications experience
  • Knowledge of interactive flat panels, projectors, and digital signage preferred
  • IT knowledge: TCP/IP networking fundamentals, including IP-connected devices, BYOD, video casting, Chromebook, Android
  • Experienced and proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Google Chrome (Apps, Extensions and Themes)
  • Strong demonstration, presentation, oral, and written communication skills
  • A customer-facing relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills, effective oral and written communication, problem-solving, and public presentation skills are necessary.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; strong attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-developed, and out-of-the-box thinker
  • Strong team player who collaborates well with others to solve problems; flexible and adaptable, creative, and able to effectively assist the sales team with pre-sales support
  • Self-motivated, results-orientated individual who can develop and execute plans to achieve stated goals

Education:

Technical Degree or Strong A/V experience preferred

Compensation:

Based on experience, we offer a very competitive base salary plus a bonus
