Software Engineer

We are hiring a Software Engineer to help support our internal IT department.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand strategic business needs and provide innovative IT solutions to enhance the process efficiency and collaboration among Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service functions
  • Review the current usage of Salesforce Sales and Service modules and HubSpot and suggest ways to enhance the tools' utilization
  • Research IT data for business insights and develop dashboards and analysis reports
  • Analyze, design, and develop Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions to connect IT Applications with the customers and suppliers
  • Effectively communicate and train users on various IT Systems

Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 3 to 5 years in the field of Software Application Development, minimum three years in Business Analysis, Design, and Development of Database-driven applications

Essentials (Must haves)

  • Experience in understanding business needs and designing and developing IT solutions
  • Salesforce: Experience administering Salesforce, including user management, profiles, permission sets, roles, and security settings. Understanding of data management and data migration best practices within Salesforce. Skill in creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and report folders to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  • HubSpot: Familiarity with the HubSpot platform and its core features, including HubSpot CRM, Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, and Service Hub, as well as HubSpot's workflows, automation, and reporting features
  • Basic understanding of IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (or similar product) and its components, including AS2, Business Process, Map and Trading Partner Management
  • Understanding EDI standards, particularly ANSI X12, with specific expertise in EDI transactions such as EDI 850 (Purchase Order), EDI 855 (Purchase Order Acknowledgment), and EDI 856 (Advance Shipment Notice)
  • MS SQL: Extensive hands-on experience working with MS SQL Server, including database design, development, and optimization. Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Understanding performance tuning, query optimization, and index management to achieve optimal database performance
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions and integrations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional team members

Preferable

  • Basic understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 applications or similar ERP systems, including modules Order Management, Procurement, Inventory, and Financial
  • Project Development experience in ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, C#, ADO.NET, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS, XML, SSIS, SSRS, Visual Studio 2019, and TFS

Certifications

  • Salesforce certifications include Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II, Salesforce Certified Administrator, or other relevant certifications
  • HubSpot certifications include HubSpot Inbound Certification, HubSpot Marketing Software Certification, or other relevant certifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems
