In support of the successful growth of our Consumer & Data Product Line of business, we're hiring a talented and creative content strategist with experience in content writing and social media management to join our dynamic marketing team. The Writer will play a critical role in shaping BenQ’s digital presence by developing SEO-friendly content across websites, articles, landing pages, and marketing channels, while also managing our social media content. This is an exciting opportunity to lead content creation that drives traffic, engagement, and brand awareness.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Craft clear, concise, and engaging copy for a variety of formats, including article blog posts, landing pages, product descriptions, email campaigns, social media posts, video scripts, and marketing collateral
- Create and maintain product content pages to effectively educate end-users on the key benefits of BenQ Products
- Plan, create, and publish compelling content across all major social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube
- Manage and maintain BenQ’s social media content calendar, ensuring alignment across platforms and campaigns
- Translate complex tech product features into user-friendly content tailored to consumer audiences
- Collaborate with the different lines of Business to produce copies across multiple platforms, including brand websites, social media, eCommerce, advertisements, email blasts, printed brochures, reference guides, and other assets
- Maintain and evolve BenQ’s brand voice, tone, and messaging across all content touchpoints
- Research industry trends, customer insights, and competitors to inform content topics and positioning
- Collaborate with creative and product teams to promote launches, campaigns, and community engagement
- Monitor social media performance, trends, and audience engagement, using data to optimize strategies and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Identify opportunities for real-time marketing and community building
- Stay up-to-date with platform best practices, emerging tools, and content trends
Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong portfolio of content samples
- 2+ years of experience writing for an agency or corporation
- 2+ years of experience in content creation and social media management, ideally in consumer electronics, technology, or e-commerce industries
- Solid understanding of SEO and SEM concepts and applications
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- A creative mindset with a passion for digital storytelling and brand building
- Relationship builders with excellent interpersonal, effective oral and written communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills are a must
- Strong team player who collaborated well with others to solve problems, flexible, and adaptable
- Understanding of PC technology hardware, and Gaming experience are a plus
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism/ Creative Writing or related field
Compensation:
Based on experience, we offer a very competitive base salary plus bonus
